I really love the catch-up feature on @phanpy. When I don't have time to scroll through my timeline on the Fediverse, I can simply see the most shared, liked, and commented-on posts from the networks I decided to follow. I know I'll still miss some good posts, but that's how I discover good ones I missed.

We can select the time range we want to catch up on. 1/2

I don't understand the strict resistance to ethical algorithms like this one. I know big tech social media platforms cause a lot of harm with their hate speech and far-right-wing-based algorithms. But we can have good algorithms, too.

Someday, I am willing to adapt the code from catch-up just to see what my network has decided is worth sharing. That way, I won't need to wait and load @phanpy page every time. 2/2
