@bradlinder Dang, I got a Ploopy order in on the 21st anticipating this problem, but I guess that wasn't enough lead time. I don't think they shipped my order.

I can't decide whether to ask for a refund, for the obvious reason that I need money, or to keep the order to support Ploopy at a time when they are no doubt suffering a serious blow to their business.

@skyfaller Yeah, the timing is unfortunately. I lucked out by ordering one a month or two ago. But I do suspect this will get worked out eventually - Ploopy was the first company I saw to make this announcement, but there have been others since. They're waiting for more clarity from shippers and/or the US government before re-opening shipments to the US rather than deal with unpredictable fees that could be imposed when the package crosses the border.
