I'm going to be matriculated at RWTH #Aachen starting October and would appreciate pointers on where to find affordable housing (given that I won't have much (guaranteed) income, due to only having a Minijob (albeit maxxing that out) for the first few months)
(I already know about STW's waitlist, but having some backup is imo quite important)
I also know that I can't rely on my family as their financial situation slowly but steadily degrades (i.e. barely holds up against a rather large amount of debt, which continues to escalate), and also doesn't want to prioritize my needs above theirs (understandably, but still makes stuff a bit more difficult). Afaik this also means I can't provide a "Bürgschaft" that would have any value.
