Tetiana and Vasyl Hrushko from Kamianka near Izium, Kharkiv region, lost their limbs due to landmine explosions. Vasyl was injured by a mine in 2022, and Tetiana lost her limb in the summer of 2023.
Every fifth resident of Kamianka has traumatic amputations. This village is one of the most heavily mined settlements in the region.
The couple joke with each other, support, help with daily tasks, and manage their household together.
