@heidilifeldman Is this even true?

It makes a sort of sense. Black absorbs heat.

Bare steel is a pretty damn good conductor and retainer of heat all by itself though. Seems to me like putting a layer of anything between it and the sun and any skin contact would be counterproductive.

But I mean...the black is going to burn off pretty fast. It's going to absorb more energy :p

I know fuck all about physics. I'm sure Trump knows best having gone to Yale or whatever.

This “announcement” is farcical. No one, not a single person, wants to hear about rust-abatement efforts.

But ~30% of USians get a massive boner when the #Republican regime makes it about cruelty.

(That and unpainted metal sitting in direct sunlight along our #southernBorder is •already• hot enough to seriously burn skin, as everyone in the southwest knows, likely from experience.)

@heidilifeldman

Is Mexico going to pay for it?

Lies, lies, and more lies meant primarily to get a headline to further the appearance of cruelty as "competence" and "strength" from a administration that rewards pedophiles who use the same tactic on children to groom and abuse them.

When does Ghislaine Maxwell start her work release job for DHS, and collect her $50,000 ICE bonus?

“ “That is specifically at the request of the president, who understands that in the hot temperatures down here, when something is painted black, it gets even warmer, and it will make it even harder for people to climb,” Noem said during an afternoon news conference in which temperatures rose to 92 degrees.“
