The use of the 2d A to dismantle gun control in the District is truly rich, especially now, coming from the Trump regime with its fig leaf excuse of problematic crime levels to occupy the District with martial thugs. 4/
Pirro’s policy is further evidence of the overall Republican Fascist Party strategy of stoking gun violence, especially in large Democratic cities in Democratic states to then justify authoritarian invasions by the Trump executive branch. 5/

Equally ominously, Pirro is inviting a challenge to the District’s statute prohibiting the carry of shotguns and rifles. The gun lobby is determined to have statutes like this struck down by the current Supreme Court Justices, the crew who brought us Bruen. 6/
