@infobeautiful I knew a guy in college who had a crazy scar in the palm and back of his hand. His story was that a friend who'd been in the army had gotten recruited to be a merc and had invited him along. They went out in the woods for some training ,got shitfaced drunk and were shooting g rifles at things. His friend said "run as fast as you can and I'll shoot past you" so he took off, heard the shot, and his hand swung out in front of him with a spray of blood. So he didn't die in S Africa.
