@brainofdane I think it's a matter of preference! You can't always even easily FIND the center yarn to start from there.

@brainofdane It's the "right" way that everybody does it but not every skein will let you and then you'll end up very angry and very busy with half a skein in tangles if you find out halfway through you got the other kind.

Meanwhile the less satisfying outer pull will always work.

@brainofdane Totally depends on your preferences and how the yarn is actually wound! There is no one “right” way!
