Just logged into Apple Music and because I haven't had an active subscription since May 2025, they deleted all my Library and Playlists.

@matt I noticed that too after finishing a 3 month free trial last year. Is it expected behavior to delete everything if your subscription expires??

@Ombligoelemento I've not paid for Spotify for years and years and they still retain all my playlists and profile.

I'm discovering that, weirdly, Apple Music keeps a note of what you marked as Favourite and your Friends list, but get rid of all Playlists and anything you "Add to Library".

It's a bit odd to get rid of some things and not all.

I'm not too bothered. It's just more disappointing to know that now my blog has a bunch of blog posts on there that link to deleted playlists.
