I'd forgotten how good the Issues comedy shows were. Watching them now reminds me of the topical issues and the politicians and media figures who talked about them;

There were numerous variants, beginning with 1990 The Issues, with an ensemble cast of up and coming comics, led by veterans David Mcphail and Jon Gadsby. 1990 was followed by Bumper Issues, More Issues, and so on.
