This article tracks with my thinking about #OpenAI in general. The way OpenAI is structured, the people it hires, and the Silicon Valley and VC culture it swims in, will make it impossible for them to do anything else but jump on the road to insidious #enshittification. Advertising and marketing has ruined every single media in the past: Newspapers, Radio, TV and in recent decades, the Internet.
Be wary of anybody talking about “dominance”, “control” and “winning” for their thing.
