#ChatControl and similar proposals are fundamentally incompatible with a democratic #EU.
However, they are perfect for actors who want an authoritarian EU with mandatory age restrictions (ID verification) just to participate in democratic discourse.
I sent an email with bit of help from fightchatcontrol.eu, and received over 20 automatic replies that the EU is currently in summer break.
On the upside I now know the vacation schedule of various MEPs, and their preferred language 馃槉 Stylistically there is also a huge difference.
I'm curious if I'll get an actual reply by end of this month.
By connecting the age verification (and the ID) to browsing habits and communication, it would also allow registration of the political opinions of every citizen. From there, it's all downhill until we have a new Gestapo.
Resist in every way you can. Before it's too late.
