How recently was that posted and what was polling was it based on?
In general more recent polls tend to show declining support as people start to feel the economic pain from his economically destructive tariffs & anti-immigrant policies.
This newsweek article from Aug 10 says "Prior to Trump's approval rating declining, it had increased steadily since May. It was net +67 percent then, and +68 percent in June. It then increased by 12 percentage points to +80 in July before falling to a new low in this time period, to +65 percent."

It was the hysteric CNN statistics guy I saw on TV announcing a 89% drop in google searches on Epstein since 3 weeks ago and literally announced that "Epstein is becoming a nothingburger"
MSN reports on it, and it looks that the image in the article was the same screen:
Now I hate CNN, and that crazed statistics dude, and totally hate the poll number juggling that sometimes looks like its a national sport.
I especially hate TV news. I think there's been an especially concerted by the rich to try and control TV news, though they've been working on the newspapers more recently.

But at this stage maybe I shouldn't be surprised anymore at these things. "I can shoot a guy on 5th Avenue and get away with it" ..
Of course it is. The GOP is a cult and they can not leave.
