Racism becomes a thing that white people “fix” for others rather than something that is embedded in their own identity, relationships, and mental health.
But white supremacy doesn’t just harm those it marginalizes, it distorts, limits, and damages those it privileges, too. It teaches disconnection from humanity, an inflated sense of self-importance tethered to race, and a constant need to prove worth through dominance, productivity, and control. That’s not liberation.
