UK would rather arrest almost 500 people rather than admit or cease its complicity in Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people.

So I guess the next step is a 5,000-person protest.

They arrest 5,000? Time for 50,000.

Overwhelm the system until the system stops committing genocide.

@aral They can handle 5000 or 50,000 person protest quite easily, simply by using tactics to channel or kettle protestors. It's economics of scale - things in bulk tend to be more efficient.

They can't as easily handle 10 protests of 500 people, because that requires spreading themselves out thin to cover multiple locations.

@aral The next protest, each person should carry a one work placard, when all the words are added together they add up to ‘stop the genocide. We support Palestine Action’ in whatever order. Would the cops then arrest the entire crowd or not? That would be an interesting case for the courts.
