I don't understand why the allergies suddenly got so much worse a few days ago, unless it's a patch of grass nearby... that must be it. air quality has been okay so it's probably not pollutants aggravating it.
this sucks. I'm waking up with my eyelids glued together by sharp sand, and I'm almost out of eye drops and don't have $25 to reup.
btw, for any #AllergicConjunctivitis sufferers who may read this, alcaftadine eye drops work really well - previously with ketotifen I would have had some degree of breakthru symptoms for much of the summer - here it's only been about a week total days with breakthru symptoms so far. #Allergies
it'd be fair to say "if you're experiencing breakthru symptoms, maybe they don't work so well" but my allergies are kind of apocalyptic in degree, if I were unmedicated I would be pretty much incapacitated for 2 to 3 months of the year on the US west coast. it's unreal how bad it gets.
I really need shots, but lol poverty and lol medicaid. I've been too overwhelmed to even get a primary care doc set up since moving here a year ago.
