You don’t get to unlearn white supremacy and still feel good all the time.
You don’t get to be “right” and “liked” and “safe” while disrupting generational harm.
And you definitely don’t get to claim liberation without confronting the ways you’ve benefitted from, and have been protected by, oppression.
The truth is:
If you’re committed to comfort, you’re not committed to justice.
Growth is uncomfortable.
Repair is uncomfortable.
