Roll 196769a08: Riverside (1968)

One: The "Big C" was an enormous concrete letter C high up on the side of Box Springs Mountain overlooking the campus that could be seen for many miles. It was ritually repainted every fall for Homecoming. You can see the leftmost edge of it at the bottom of the first frame. Here some activists are temporarily co-opting it to serve as the capital C in "McCarthy" in honor of the Presidential candidate's visit to campus.
