Fun fact (really). The Bonfire fediverse platform allows each individual user the ability to upload their own set of custom emojis.

There seems to be no limit to how many, tho I'm sure there will have to be as it gets more popular. And it will. Looking snazzy!

@box464@mastodon.social I wonder how the administration works for those, if it's really on individual level the admins should be able to delete them if for instance someone adds an NSFW emoji on an instance that doesn't allow it, but I can see the interface for that become cluttered very quickly.

@cheeaun Yes. Each user can create their own collections of emoji. Other users can see it when I use it, but it doesn't show up in their own collections.
