🏴⛪ An abandoned church, somewhere in the north of England
Built in the 19th century in Gothic Revival style, it features lancet windows and carved stone arches.
Declining attendance and upkeep costs led to its closure. The building now sits #derelict, its pews coated in dust.
This lost place was one of seven selected from my #portfolio for National Geographic's recent feature on abandoned places across England.
