Vs going to the US which is: - Further with jet lag - More expensive - New risk of randomly getting accosted by their immigration or even on the streets by ICE (and who knows if you will get spirited away to El Salvador or other places without due process) - Gun violence not present in most of the world - Mess of healthcare system in case touch wood something bad happened during travel - Dealing with racist people and crazies (who are always there but are now emboldened to be more open/public about it due to their orange boss now) depending on where you go in the States - Under-maintained national parks due to stupid budget cuts Not to mention the irrational crackdown on international students which dampens a lot of people’s shiny view of the land of the free.
