Many of the same Republican lawmakers who have targeted the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for cuts have collectively directed thousands of constituents’ complaints about banks, credit cards, loans and other products to the agency.

@ProPublica Having a consumer financial protection bureau doesn't actually change that the financial system is basically legalized counterfeiting and usury. When the fed prints money, or the banks create IOUs out of thin air when you deposit your paycheck, it is essential stealing from the poor who hold mostly cash and giving to the rich who mostly hold assets. This is why Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk are multi-billionaires on paper, but they only have a few hundred million in cash that they could spend right now. This is true for almost every billionaire. I cannot buy groceries with company stock and nether can they without converting it into cash by selling it, at which point the market value of said asset would go down significantly because of the increase in supply. Cash is very similar, when the government prints money or borrows money or taxes money, you are getting robbed one way or another. The rich don't pay taxes, you do when you buy goods and services, which is why I think the rich are too highly taxed, they don't pay their taxes, I do when I buy the goods and services I need.
@ProPublica Betraying voters appears to be a pathological obsession of today's "Republicans"/RINOs.

If the order of their dear leader outweighs the interests of the sovereign of all government, the people, those unrepresentative "representatives" should seriously leave Congress or whatever state or local parliament they're wasting people's dime & time in!
