@amoroso It does swing both ways. When collecting early feedback on an online payment portal in development, the responses were almost deafening... "Why isn't this an app? We want an app!" We'd planned to keep the entire thing in the browser (faster/cheaper/easier), but people expect push notifications and biometric auth. And they trust their respective app stores. After fighting it for months, we ended up just wrapping the site up in Capacitor to get the best of both worlds.

Still not collecting *any* data beyond what's absolutely necessary, and the meager amount that is collected is pretty much worthless and can't be sold. My team and I made sure of it.
