Recently I'm finding myself more and more inclined towards creating my own #Emacs configuration on top of something like bedrock and ditch Doom. How do I fight it? I'm too old for that...

@katafrakt his emacs from scratch series is more straight to the point than the streams. I learned a lot from them even being an emacs user for over a decade.
@paulyd@katafrakt as a new emacs user (started with it about three years ago) the System Crafter's videos were in incredibly helpful to me as I built my own emacs configuration.
