On July 23, 2025, France, the United Kingdom, and Belgium conducted a coordinated aerial reconnaissance operation over the Black Sea.

The reconnaissance group included the French E-3F AWACS long-range radar detection aircraft, as well as the British RC-135W electronic intelligence aircraft.
