We have preliminarily found Temu in breach of its obligation to properly assess the risks of illegal products being sold on its marketplace.

Evidence shows there is a high risk for EU consumers to come across illegal products on the platform.

Analysis of a mystery shopping exercise we conducted found that consumers shopping on Temu are very likely to find non-compliant products among the offer, such as baby toys and small electronics.

@EUCommission No shit Sherlock. I could have told you that years ago and I’ve never even been in the app or site. What did you think a PRoC company was doing?

@EUCommission Just double the fine each time an infringing item is found. They're not stupid, they can do the sums.

@EUCommission

This is absolutely irrelevant.

Yesterday you caved to a fucking bully, degraded #EU citizens to servants to a fascist regime and damaged the idea of #Europe beyond repair.

This "deal" with the #US is an act of sheer spinelessness and cowardice.

I was never before so ashamed to be a #European.

@EUCommission The commission should have better focused on the tariff fight with the US instead of publishing really irrelevant stuff like that here.

I unequivocally find the European Commission in breach of its obligation to properly assess and successfully mitigate the risks of all Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and on the West Bank.

Evidence shows there is a near 100% chance for Palestinians to have their land stolen, to be starved to deatb or to be exterminated in another manner.

Analysis of a document published by B'Tselem confirms without a doubt that Israël is committing Genocide. From their document: "History shows that attempting to eradicate a group of human beings is a crime with catastrophic consequences a crime that every person has the duty to oppose and act to stop immediately." The European Commission is definitely non-compliant w.r.t. meeting their obligations as defined by international laws and in the trade agreement between the EU and Israel.

@EUCommission It didnät bother anyone when production was moved to China couple of decades ago for profit of the rich bitches and gentlemen.

This has been, and will be true in my opinion, local production is always more healthy for the economy than outsourcing it to a foreing land.

This just damage control when the shit has all ready slingshot to the fan.
