I waited until the first public beta of iOS 26 “Liquid Glass” before upgrading so I wouldn’t bump into the most glaring issues.
Either I have become old and change averse, or it’s really bad.

@thibaultamartin I did the same for iPadOS 26 on my 2019 iPad mini. The new window management is fun, I guess, but it's lacklustre on such a small screen. Other than that Liquid Glass is an inconsistent mess and the transparency effects just don't do it for me. They look cheap.
@thibaultamartin I’m waiting until the final release for the same reason, but from what I’ve seen so far I’m very nervous. Seem like an accessibility nightmare so far.
@sstendahl I can’t speak for accessibility but it’s janky and jarring.
As someone without accessibility needs as of typing this post, I’m confused by the UI and find it very unpleasant to use
@thibaultamartin I was mostly referring to poor contrast at multiple places, making it difficult to read things even if you’re not vision-impaired.
Perhaps my wording was somewhat misplaced there, as I am not aware to any changes to specific accessibility features such as screen readers and screen magnification.
