📝 I made a music app #Development#Macos#Ios#Music#Navidrome

I've been using Navidrome to stream music for a bit now. It's lightweight, snappy, stable and does everything I need. It lets me stream my own music, mark things as favorites and track my listening habits. It's decidedly nerdy — you need to self-host it (or pay someone to manage it — I assume that's an option somewhere) and I sync new music up to it using rclone. It...

re: ICE Block app

might wanna install the APK from... not the Google Play store. Just in case.

...IF THEY HAD ONE.

If you see any ICE Block Android APKs floating around, they are not legit (or more accurately, not with their blessing; they're sticking with the IOS ecosystem for privacy concerns).

The new #Signal #backup system fulfills so many of the things people have wanted for so long:
Hosted by Signal, so your #data is safe even if you made a local backup but dropped your #phone in a lake.
The ability to dynamically offload media so that Signal takes up less space on your phone, while still letting you download that media on the fly if you scroll back.
An independent backup format that is readable by all clients, so that you can do things like backup on #Android and restore on #iOS.
A generous optional free tier that will ensure that all of the text content of your messages is backed up, as well as the most recent 45 days of media.
A fairly-priced paid tier that allows us to offer 100GB of media storage in a way that is sustainable for us as an organization.

Double Maze, a 15-year-old iOS game originally written in Objective-C using Xcode 2, has made its return to the App Store—nine years after Apple removed it for being outdated. The app hadn’t compiled since Xcode 4, but with the help of Claude Code and about four hours of tinkering, it’s finally back.

Support for modern devices and screen sizes has been added.

There are a couple of other projects I’d like to bring back to the App Store, ones I built with a friend who recently passed away.

This is our take on Crypto. It has not changed. There is a reason why we have not included Crypto in Vivaldi.

We are very proud of the features we have added, but we also proud of the "features" we have not added.

I’m trying out @fastmail but because they don’t offer a widget or a standalone app for the calendar, it takes 4 taps (edit: 2 if you enable the bottom menu) to simply check my calendar for the day 💀

1) Open #Fastmail app
2) Open side menu
3) Open drop-down menu
4) Finally switch to calendar view

I submitted a ticket to make sure I wasn’t missing anything (edit: workaround is to use #iOS Calendar app) but is anyone successfully using Fastmail as a #Google Calendar replacement? My current setup:
