For those of you tolerating Liquid Glass and the quite horrific Safari redesign on mobile/tablet: Kagi’s Orion browser actually seems to be an awesome full replacement. No complaints so far. Easy access to tab management, no weirdly hidden buttons or menus you need to tap multiple times to see fully. As a bonus, it has built-in filter support as well as several great Firefox and Chrome plug-ins. And Kagi’s search is optional. In fact you have more search options than in Safari. #iOS #iPadOS #macOS

Seems like #AirPods Pro 3 have the ‘Optimized Charge Limit’ feature on by default. Not sure if that’s specific to #iOS26.
This is one device where I definitely do *not* want that feature, battery longevity be darned (also I have AppleCare lol). When I put them back in the case, I want them back to 100% ASAP for my next use.

I always struggled w the #iPhone's default camera app due to its #ComputationalPhotography pipeline, which optimizes image quality but often produces flat and sometimes inconsistent results. Finally, I found a solution: the #NoFusion app. The app disables #Apple's multi-frame processing, yielding single-frame outputs with natural contrast and film-like characteristics closer to dedicated cameras. Question: When I edit a photo on the iPhone, the image is displayed *much* brighter (and prettier) than when I exit editing mode — even when no actual edits are made to the image.
From searching around, this appears to be a “feature” related to HDR, but I still don’t understand the intent. All it does is make me feel bad about my photos once I leave exit mode, because I have just seen what could have been! 😔
Can any #photo nerds point me to an explainer of this behavior?
