Boss guide, game and everyone else's advice: "don't forget that if you are struggling you can lower the difficulty"
Okay yes but that's a different problem than the one I have. Not knocking it if that's your solution, I'm just trying to avoid that solution personally.
Game: “You can always lower the difficulty.”
Me: “NEVAR!!!”
My solution, unfortunately, is to go back and grind to level up my team. I made a really bad habit of trying to avoid enemies in the late stage of the game, in the interest of the plot, so I had to go back and fight every monster I was still losing to, and work my way up.
