yknow what they say. to make an error is human, to propagate the error to all servers in an automatic way you need devops

why can't i just get paid to do 1990s style manual server maintenance in a small to medium company where I'm employed for 40 years with no stress
@wxcafe i ended up in one of those unexpectedly. ecologist consultancy (not a tech co) wanted to do some satellite image classification of plants for rehab but didn't want to use any cloud stuff.
just got to build cool shit, look after the servers. i was friendlier than their IT company so would also help the ecologists with printer problems, etc.
