Casual reminder: you are supposed to run your own mailserver

If you aren't operating your own mailserver by now, what is your excuse? Don't have the hardware? Get a VM with @OpenBSDAms. Too much effort? Nah, @mwlhas you covered.

Never surrender the protocols.

Run your own mail server.

Revolt.

@stefano @h3artbl33d @OpenBSDAms @mwl however, if you want to actually receive all the mails you probably shouldn't be using OpenSMTPD right now because it doesn't support PIPELINING and apparently there are MTAs in the wild that assume it exists everywhere and fail to deliver mail 😭

@feld @h3artbl33d @mwl @OpenBSDAms I haven't noticed it, but will regrep my SMTP logs (I'm using opensmtpd as my primary MTA)

@stefano @h3artbl33d @mwl @OpenBSDAms I'm only using it as my Backup MX, but yeah... when I saw this I was rather dismayed. Even if it might only be coming from companies I don't like, it would suck to be running this service and not be able to get like... a password reset email for a Meta service
