Just encountered some "real" biker hate towards ebikes and it's just so....I dunno? Testosterone-laden self-satisfied purism?
Also it's ableist...I can ride a non-electric bike less than a mile but regularly ride my ebike on a 10-mile roundtrip. It's been in the shop for a repair for a week now and my mental health is suffering from not getting my rides in.
