@zkat Some things look like sacrifice from the outside, but often it's just in appearance. I think a lot of folks draw parallels between veganism and permacomputing, because veganism from the outside, looks like sacrifice, but it isn't, not really. Other and new foods will take place of the old ones, and ultimately, no sacrifice whatsoever has occurred.

I think it might be the same with permacomputing, other new and different ways of doing things will replace the old ones, and probably won't feel any harder, and definitely not sacrifice anything at all. Anyways, I hope that is the case for your endavours! 🌻 :)
