Getting the excuses out of the way first, after a couple of weeks of not running (https://blog.sgawolf.com/post/2025-07-18-getting-back-on-track), needing to walk for some of it, and a slow start due to a narrow bridge, I’m really pleased with myself for completing my first #Parkrun in 35:35. Sub-35 was my goal but I’ll gladly take this because I thought I was slower.
It was a huge amount of fun with lovely people taking part and volunteering. I’ll definitely do more but doing one was a goal I had in mind when I started Couch to 5K.
