Again not doubting the situation, I am wondering how something is big in the news but locals are not aware.
This has been driving me crazy as I have been in 13 states in 30 days from Virginia to Washington and I am finding the news is covering small but important events that don’t register as big locally.
I genuinely feel like there is so much happening people have shut down, stopped paying attention unless it’s in front of them. I am on vacation saw your post and tried to find info locally to help if I could.
Hopefully this makes sense because your post made me stop and look around someplace I am not from, to possibly help people I don’t know. Maybe that was your goal, just know it’s not plainly visible on the streets.
