@siracusa @atpfm This is the take I would expect of Long Island Italian-Americans. I was surprised you had such a rosy view of pineapple on pizza. I used to like it as a kid, then didn't like it for about 20 years, then liked it when done well (a nice roast on the pineapple and not too wet)

Also, pepperoni is an S tier topping for pizza. I say this because anytime pizza is ordered in a group situation, be it work or otherwise, pepperoni is always a default selection without input.

@siracusa @atpfm well, even not appreciating enough basil leaves on a Margherita pizza misses the point of Italian cuisine being about the freshness and taste of the ingredients. The point of Italian cuisine is subtlety and actually much more plain foods with tasty ingredients as a lot of our cuisine comes from very poor backgrounds.
