The report leaves no doubt: the negative impact of the datacenters is not an (energy) efficiency issue, is about effectiveness: most of the resources are used for private data capture and processing for advertisement and control.

The environmental cost (in lives) is about #SurveillanceCapitalism: again, the appropriation and privatization of the #Commons (everyone), robbed and concentrated in a few hands.

El informe deja clarísimo q el impacto neg de los datacenters no es de eficiencia energética, sino de eficacia: la mayoría de los recursos son para captura y procesamiento de datos personales para publicidad y control.

O sea, el costo ambiental (en vidas) se debe mayoritariamente al #CapitalismoDeVigilancia: otra vez la apropiación de recursos que antes eran de #LesComunes (todes) se roban y concentran en pocas manos.
