@order I woud think the tables should be distributed as HTML-tables, i.e. converted before sending.

On the other hand, should activitpub implementations keep HTML table elements for their clients to present?

Given that people generally might end up using tables for visually formatting things, instead of just for structuring data things might not look that good.
