Imagine children you know being murdered while queuing for water
and the murderers absolving themselves by declaring their own depravity is down to a “technical mistake”
while enjoying the continued financial and logistical support of people that call themselves ‘civilised’
I still don't understand why Israel is a Right-Left issue unless the Right always support strong bullies and the Left with victims. I'll take that as a warning and act accordingly.

@woo …don’t get me wrong. Not conducting genocide is the very least we should be able to do.
But things like the NHS don’t stand up without massive inflows of wealth extracted from infrastructure established in far away places in the 19th Century.
If we want a less violent present we have to do less violence and that means giving stuff up that only comes to us through coercion
And continuing to do so for two years, again and again. Barely recognising any atrocity unless highlighted by international media. And then continuing to do so again.
When I have children, I don't know what I'll tell them. I don't know what I'll say when they ask "what did you do?".

…and the people that call themselves ‘civilised’ being so enthralled by the technology that’s generating murder (which when it suits them is classified merely as a “technical mistake”)
that they contract the people who are developing AI kill chains to steward the entire country’s health data…
…But, going further, these same credulous, banal, callous people place “break things” so much at the centre of “move fast and break things”, that they profess their desire to hitch the entire economy to generative “technical mistakes”
backed by data centres that suck the well-being from their environs
…It is pretty weird to have spent some of the last few days revisiting how idealistic and naive but genuinely empathetic musicians came together 40 years ago to tell geopolitical ‘logic’ to fuck off in order to try and help starving people, at the same time as the contemporary governments of those same countries shut down dissent about the murder of latter day starving people
…I don’t frankly care if Labour only do good things from here on in (they won’t).
I will never forgive their behaviour and their dishonesty over the last year
This is not the Labour party I grew up with. It has more in common with Margaret "There's no such thing as society" Thatcher.
Sustainability, not growth, is what we need now.
