When people complain that punishing unacceptable behaviour in the workplace will impact on the UK's economic success (growth), they are revealing the dependence of managers in the UK on methods of intimidation, exploitation & prejudice.
As I've said before one of the key issues behind the economic malaise of the UK is its 'tradition' of bad management (managers).
Until we change that culture, the UK will fail to harness the widespread skills & knowledge of its population.
