@jonw I thought that in some important ways Guns'n'Roses brought to the table something they must have lost somewhere along the way in the late 1980s: It wasn't all bells and whistles -although there was one big, literal whistle too– it was almost a power trio plus two, with a sound that very closely resembled their magnum opus. I think they displayed dignity and restraint they rarely show on stage. Possibly a one off for them, never shown before.
