Baby's first solar powered LoRa #meshtastic node.

Still waiting on a better antenna.

The front of the solar panel. The world's least good antenna can be seen poking from the top. There are suction cups to allow it to be attached to a window.

The back of the node, showing a small esp32 LoRa board attached to the back of a solar panel with cloth tape.

The solar panel is about eight fingers by ⅔ cubit in size.

…and the battery that comes with the M2 board is almost enough to power it through the night. It would probably be fine in summer.

Luckily batteries are pretty inexpensive as well.
