Hello Fedi friends!

My child and I arrived in Italy yesterday to spend all of July at my parents' 🇮🇹

What's the first thing I did this morning? Following @milano to have weather forecasts here in my feed.

@Nux thank you! Things should be ok next week. And I feel terrible writing this but my parents have AC (at this point absolutely necessary as they get older and the heat gets worse)

@_elena No judging. I wouldn't dream to live in Italy without AC during the height of summer... We barely made it through this week here in UK and we're a good few degrees Celsius behind the continent..

@Nux thanks. In Paris we don't have AC (nobody we know does) and the temperature inside our apartment at 10pm was 30°C !!! I couldn't concentrate and felt like a zombie.

Here in Italy with AC I feel normal again. Plus being in the countryside makes a big difference

@_elena Yeah, same here in London. You won't see m/any ACs, but a few people would run portable units. They're clunky, but they can help take the edge off.
My "office" has also been at 30C most of this week as it is a loft full of computers. Currently 28C. Hashtag topless.. 🤭

@_elena @milano @stefano I looked at this and thought, pity Singapore isn't included. Then I realised that the local weather bureau can't reliably tell me if it's going to rain in the next half-hour or not, let alone what the weather will be like tomorrow.

Good thing it's nearly always the same. 🤣
