I had great hopes on this particular issue they would stand strong, like the #EU. Because, ultimately, it **is** a part of several multi-lateral treaties both nations have rtified. The short-term costs are potentially high - for both sides - but #Canada has weathered similar storms.

There is always a choice. Since I prefer to rip the bandage off, rather than slowly peel, I am biased toward a rapid economic realignment.
