people who continue using Meta apps because... [whatever], are directly harming all other people who want to opt out of this mass surveillance monster.
Private photos or videos of events and social situations will involve many other people, people that never consented to be data mined in Meta's evil social graph.
Its the equivalent of getting cancer from passive smoking because somebody refuses to tackle their addiction and thereby inflicts damage on others.
@Sarahp Creepy. Meta is already interfering with our privacy in so many ways. We should dump all their apps.
@Sarahp sadly at this point I suspect most folks who still have Meta apps would be willing to trade their privacy for a curated weekend collage, but we can try.

Yet another reason people need to bite the bullet and delete ALL Meta apps and leave the platforms. Do you really want Zuck to have access to your nudes or politically sensitive stuff which he could then share with Trump?
