@ProPublica Republican voters got what they voted for with less government, but they didn't expect it would be less for them. FEMA has been republican target to abolish, leaving states to pay for their own disasters. They aimed it at California's wildfires, but it's becoming reality for red states with hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, etc.
