Back when the Syrian rebels toppled Asaad, I posted that we were probably living through what would be recognised as the start of WW3. Because it was the point where the proxy wars in Gaza and Ukraine started to overlap.

The IDF attacks on Iran, and the US pulling back in Ukraine (pushing the EU to ramp up their involvement), and now entering the Middle East theatre of war Likud started, it all tracks : (

Last year, based on my observations of Orange Stalin 1.0, I was arguing that Orange Stalin 2.0 would pull back from international military engagement as a cost-cutting measure, as protectionists, tend to do. I didn't anticipate that my nickname for him would turn out to be even more accurate than I thought.

Lest we forget, Stalin 1.0 helped start WW2 by invading Poland with Hitler. A historical fact suppressed after the Nazis attacked the USSR and they joined the Allies.
