@eobet Our ActivityPub code does *some* automatic fetching of threads, but we also give users control over that, by including options to fetch replies per nested discussion branch or for an entire thread

@bonfire a slight improvement for sure, but still a manual operation that I suspect many users won’t realize they have to do… (and even for those who know it feels like it will become a ux papercut).
