@abucci Yeah, the US didn't become a global hegemon (exclusively) by being a belligerent asshole to everyone else. The US became a global superpower *by providing support, aid, and crucial goods to the rest of the world* after WW2.

It's a lot easier to become an industrial powerhouse after two world wars turn most of Europe into a rubble-strewn hellscape. It was an accident of historical circumstance.
