Today's bookstore find is a gorgeously illustrated edition of #BangHallimJeon for younger readers. It's a #Joseon era novel about the loving #asexual marriage between a fiercely independent #queer woman and her heroic female husband, who in current terms could be one or more of #transmasc, crossdressing woman, stone butch, he/him #lesbian, etc. (Depending on how you understand the husband's gender, the subtitle on the cover may come across as misgendering.) I love the two mains and their relationship to bits, and it was a treat to find such a pretty edition for teen readers complete with study guide and commentary! #amReading#Korea #queerFiction
